Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Southeast Texas is celebrating Month of Miracles! Throughout March, we are shining a light on the importance of children’s services in local hospitals and showing how donations help kids get lifesaving care close to home.

Painting with a Twist
Join us at Painting with a Twist in Beaumont for Painting with a Purpose as we bring art to life on Sunday, March 4 at 3 p.m. The lovely Misti Ivy Hill will lead us in creating a beautiful painting of hydrangeas in mason jars. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages. 50% of all proceeds will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Southeast Texas. Classic Movie Night: Toy Story – Toy Drive

Jefferson Theatre
The historic Jefferson Theatre is hosting Classic Movie Night on Friday, March 9. Watch toys come to life on the big screen in the movie Toy Story. In honor of Month of Miracles, we invite you to bring a toy to donate to a child at your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Everyone who brings a toy donation will receive a free movie ticket to a future Classic Movie Night! We’re looking for toys for infants to teens that can be played with while in a hospital room. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the Beaumont Civic Center Box Office (701 Main Street) or at the Jefferson Theatre immediately before the show. Crayons for the Kids

Lumberton Primary School
Lumberton Primary School students are all about helping kids just like them in their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. During Month of Miracles, the students will be participating in a Crayon Drive to collect new boxes of 8–16 crayons to donate to children at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth. When children are hospitalized, it’s important for their well-being and development to maintain a sense of normalcy throughout their stay. St. Elizabeth’s Child Life Department does just that by providing young patients with crayons and other materials as a creative outlet to express themselves while helping alleviate anxiety. Free Cone Day

Participating Dairy Queen Locations
Participating Dairy Queen locations across the U.S. will celebrate the Fourth Annual Free Cone Day on Tuesday, March 20. Fans will enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone with the signature curl on top (limit one per customer while supplies last). During Free Cone Day, participating DQ stores will also accept donations to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Dairy Queen System is a national partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and has raised more than $130 million since 1984 for more than 170 local children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.
