Local Bikers Deliver Toys to Hospitalized Children in Beaumont, TX
On December 3, Cowboy HOG Chapter in Beaumont, Texas took off on their 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Run. The chapter visited local hospitals, including CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth, to deliver teddy bears to hospitalized children.
When over twenty men and women parked their motorcycles at the front of St. Elizabeth hospital, heads turned to see what was going on. Staff, visitors, and patients were mesmerized as the leather-clad group entered the hospital carrying armfuls of teddy bears.
The teddy bears were donated to sick and injured kids at St. Elizabeth’s Pediatric Center and Emergency Department. When children are in the hospital, receiving a teddy bear can greatly reduce their stress levels and allow their bodies to heal faster.
Thank you, Cowboy HOG Chapter, for putting smiles on the faces of local kids in the hospital with your generous donation!
